Custody Reviews
The Bath and North East Somerset Community Safety and Safeguarding Partnership (BCSSP) undertakes custody reviews when a child or young person receives a custodial sentence. These reviews bring agencies together to understand the child's journey, identify what worked well, listen to the views of the child and family, and highlight opportunities where support could have been strengthened. The aim is not to attribute blame, but to learn from experiences and improve services for future children and families.
